Welcome to the CLRT & Friends World Championship Evo II!
This is the Rules and Regulations page of our virtual racing championship! Here, you'll find all the essential information you need to know about participating in our exciting event. Whether you're a seasoned racer or new to the scene, understanding the rules will help ensure a fair, competitive, and thrilling experience for everyone. Buckle up, and let's dive into the details!
Races:
The championship features 10 varied circuits, with races split between different car categories. Each race will be between 4 and 6 laps long, except for the final race, which will be extended to bring even more excitement.
Starting grid:
First Race: The starting grid is determined by a qualifying session.
Subsequent Races: The starting grid is reversed based on the championship result.
Participants:
We welcome up to 16 participants, so make sure to secure your spot by pre-registering through the attached form (but it is no neccesary).
Sportmanshisp:
Remember, sportsmanship is key – respect your fellow racers and keep it clean, as this is not a contact sport. The host will enforce this strictly and may issue penalties or even remove players for unsportsmanlike behavior.
2 championships!:
Individual drivers (as usually)
Teams (there will be 2 teams):
CLRT members
Friends
The total points of each of the teams is not directly the sum of the points of its members. Since the number of riders in each team may be different (e.g. there may be 3 riders in CLRT and 10 in friends), the sum of the points will be weighted by the inverse of the number of riders.
Points:
Our scoring system rewards consistent performance and exceptional skill. Points for each race are awarded as follows (from first to last place):
27
24
21

Extra points:
Fastest Lap: 3 extra points
Oldest Car in the race: 1 extra point
Points will be added up after each race, and you can check the real-time standings on our website.
The last race will have DOUBLE POINTS!
Host:
The host of the championship is the player 'CLRT_Mateo' (PSN ID: 'Medela'). Make sure to add him as a friend if you haven't already! He will be hosting the races.
Live results:
Stay up to date with the live leaderboard on our website, where you can see real-time results and track your progress in the championship. At the end of each race, give us a couple of minutes to refresh the board.
Top prize:
The ultimate prize is glory and recognition in the CLRT Hall of Fame!
